Garlic Yogurt Sauce

Garlic Yogurt Sauce is one of my family’s favorite sauces.  Because it is so versatile, we use it like most people use Ranch Dressing.  It is so good on oven roast potatoes, french fries, kofte (Turkish meatballs) and sandwiches.  It was especially good on the Falafel sandwiches I made recently.  Honestly, I could almost drink this stuff.  Another variation on this sauce would be to add some seeded and chopped cucumbers.  You could make this a little thicker by omitting the water and using it as a dip for chips or veggies.

One of my favorite things is when I make this sauce when we have oven baked chicken with salad and rice and the garlic yogurt sauce travels from my salad to my rice and then over to my chicken.  It is such a great combination!  Try out the recipe and let me know your favorite way to use it, as a sauce, a dip or a salad dressing!  Afiyet olsun!
