Meeting Nancy Fuller, Farmhouse Rules

Meeting Nancy Fuller, Farmhouse Rules was the highlight of the Country Living Fair Nashville 2016 for me.  I really enjoyed her presentation because she was so down to earth and so vivacious.  She had a dazzling smile and was so funny.  I will admit I had only seen her show a few times before meeting her but now I am a faithful fan of the show.  She demonstrated a pasta dish that was yummy and then she headed over to the book signing building.  I was pretty far back in the line to get my cookbook signed where I met some nice ladies in line.  One of them was Nancy’s self-proclaimed, biggest fan and the other lady was a friend of Nancy’s whom she has known over 25 years.  It was fun standing in line talking with other people who love to cook.  The book is full of wonderful recipes, separated by Seasons.  I have really enjoyed my book.  One of my favorite things in the book is the section Nancy dedicates to manners.  Manners are so important.  It brought tears to my eyes when she talks about her dinner table growing up.  No one would start eating until her mother sat down and picked up her fork.  This is so respectful in my opinion.  I don’t want to get on my soap box here but part of what is wrong in America these days is people don’t gather together around the dinner table and enjoy one another’s company.  Anyway, enough of that.  Farmhouse Rules is full of great recipes.  Now would be a great time to get your own copy.  You can order it from the Amazon link below.  Then you will be ready to hit your local farmer’s market and cook up something delicious to share with your family.  You can also watch Nancy, on Sunday’s on Food Network and you can get more information at the Fuller Farmer.
