Thanksgiving 2013

December 10, 2013

dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;">Thanksgiving 2013 has come and gone and Christmas is right around the corner.  I had every intention of posting about our wonderful Thanksgiving meal.  It is our tradition to have Thanksgiving at my sister, Kim’s house and it is always the holiday that I look forward to the most.  It is a time when my sister and I get together in the kitchen and make some delicious food.  This year, Kim made ham, “the dressing”, potato salad, coleslaw, sweet potato fluff, green beans, deviled eggs and squash casserole.  And I made the turkey, “the rice”( iç pilav), yeast rolls, pecan cobbler, banana pudding, chocolate coconut cake and baklava.  My friend Angie made a yummy Vidalia onion casserole. And Kim’s friend Angela made a delicious corn pudding.  The food was so tasty.  As delicious as it all was, it would have been nothing if we were not surrounded by our family and friends.  So thankful for family, friends, health and happiness.  If we had not been in such a hurry to eat this yummy meal, you would be enjoying the pictures.  Please take my word for it, it was both beautiful and delicious!
