Cauliflower and Potato Gratin or Peynirli Patatesli Karnibahar
Ingredients
1 Head Cauliflower
3 Medium Potatoes
1½ Tablespoon Salt
½ Teaspoon Paprika
¼ Cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
½ Cup Butter
1½ Cups Shredded Six-cheese blend or any shredded cheese you like
½ Cup Milk
Pinch Black Pepper
Instructions
Wash the cauliflower and potatoes.
Peel the potatoes and cut into large cubes.
Remove the core of the cauliflower and cut into smallish florets.
Add 1 Tablespoon salt to a pot of boiling water, then add the cauliflower and potatoes.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook about 5 minutes then drain.
Return to the pot and stir in the ½ Tablespoon salt, parsley, butter, 1 Cup cheese, milk and black pepper.
Pour into baking dish and top with remaining ½ Cup Cheese. Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake for 20-30 minutes until tender and golden brown.
