Total time:
Serves: 6
- 1 Cup Butter, slightly softened
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Flour
- 4 Chilton County Peaches (okay you can use Georgia peaches if you have to ;-) )
- For topping:
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- ¼ Cup Powdered sugar
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, cut the butter into the sugar and flour until it just starts to come together.
- Peel your peaches and cut into slices. (You can leave the peel on if you like - it is your pie after all!)
- Place the peaches in your pan and arrange neatly. I used a ceramic pie pan and it worked great.
- Sprinkle the topping over the top of the peaches. It will look messy.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until done and then place under broiler for 3 minutes to brown.
- While the cobbler is baking, pour the heavy whipping cream into a large mixing bowl.
- Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the cream and whip until fluffy. Cover and place in fridge until ready to serve.
- When the cobbler is done, remove from oven to cooling rack.
- Cool for a few minutes then place on plate and top each serving with whipped cream if desired. Afiyet olsun!
