Saffron Garlic Infused Olive Oil
Ingredients
  • 5 Cloves Garlic
  • ½ Cup Olive Oil
  • ⅛ Teaspoon Saffron
  • 1 Teaspoon Mint
  • 1 Teaspoon Aleppo Pepper
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil over medium high heat in a small saucepan.
  2. Peel the garlic cloves and place in the oil.
  3. Reduce heat to low.
  4. Add in the Saffron, Mint and Aleppo Pepper.
  5. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until garlic is tender.
  6. Allow oil to cool, then pour oil through a strainer into a glass storage jar.
  7. Remove the garlic from the strainer and place into the jar with the oil.
  8. Use in sauces, marinades and vinaigrettes.
