Caramelized Onion and Blue Cheese Dip

Caramelized Onion and Blue Cheese Dip
Ingredients
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 8 Ounces Sour Cream
  • 8 Ounces Thick Yogurt
  • 6 Ounces Blue Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. Saute the onion in the olive oil for 6-8 minutes or until golden and caramelized.
  2. Allow to cool.
  3. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the onions for garnishing the dip.
  4. In a food processor or blender, combine the onion, lemon juice, salt and the yogurt and blend until smooth. (If you don't have a food processor or blender, you can just stir it all together. It will be fine. I promise.)
  5. Mix the onion and yogurt mixture with the blue cheese and sour cream.
  6. Stir well and pour into a serving dish.
  7. Top with the reserved caramelized onions. Enjoy with chips, crackers or veggies of your choice. Afiyet olsun!
